One hypothesis says that Moray was an Inca biological experimental station from growing crops at different altitudes and a center for domestication and hybridization of wild plants species. By midday visit Maras, a colonial town that’s main attraction is the large number of small saltwater pools. Every three days, during the dry season, workers fill the pools with saltwater that comes from natural springs at the top of the Maras complex, and when the water evaporates from the pool, the salt is left for collection. The salt is ground up, treated with iodine, and packaged and sent to the various markets of the region.

13:00 By this time we will arrive to Urubamba where we are going to enjoy a delicious Lunch Included in a local restaurant next to the farms. Finally, visit Ollantaytambo, the last Inca village that’s still alive, because its people are still living in the Inca houses, are still using the Inca terraces for the farms, and are still using the canals and drains systems for survival. Its marvelous sacred area will impress everyone with all the temples, gardens and fountains.  In the late afternoon we will finish our adventure on time to catch the train to Aguas Calientes – Machupicchu.  After a scenic hour and a half train ride, we will arrive to the train station which is at the bottom of the archaeological site of Machupicchu. Walk five minutes, and check in at the hotel.
